Words to live by: Honesty, Hard work, Integrity, & Family.

In 1960, a dream was started out of a small body shop on Route 1 in Arundel, Maine. Partners Bernon "Ben" Madore and Norman Rochefort built what would become Weirs Body Shop and Weirs Motor Sales. The business quickly gained a following for its fairness, value, and honesty.

The 1970s saw the expansion of the Body Shop and the construction of one of the nation's most technologically- advanced passive solar repair facilities. Ben Madore took over as full owner and Weirs' reputation as New England's premier dealership and collision center grew, attracting customers from across the region for their sales and repair needs.

The Madore Family expanded the business in 1996, building Arundel Ford just north of the existing Buick & GMC dealership. Together, Weirs Buick GMC, Weirs Body Shop, and Arundel Ford make up one of Southern Maine largest family-owned and operated business groups, dedicated to the community and its hard working staff members.
